Doug Rea

Doug was appointed to his present position in June 2002 and is responsible for the further growth and development of Tidal's producer services portfolio. Doug was Manager, Crude Oil Sales at the inception of Tidal in January 1998 after spending 19 years with Gulf in the Production, Joint Interest, and Marketing areas. In 1985, Doug moved into Gulf's Marketing Division where key responsibilities included the sale of Sulphur both domestically in Canada and the U.S. as well as coordination of offshore shipments to international markets. In addition, he assumed sales roles for Propane and Butane as well as managing Gulf's interest in the Dow de-ethanization and Chevron Fort Saskatchewan fractionation facilities. Doug joined Gulf's Crude Oil Marketing Team in 1995 as a Trader and continued in that role until transferring to Tidal in 1998.
